On Thursday, February 10, 2011. another meeting Piła Newspapers Polish Club. This time we visited Mrs. Martha Szczesiak the Poznan Institute of National Remembrance. The meeting was chaired by Fr. Jaroslaw Wasowicz.
Culture Club members met first at the mass. in St. Celebrated as a family every month the intention of the Smolensk disaster victims. After Mass in the auditorium of St. John Bosco was a meeting on the topic: Why do we need the IPN? Ms. Marta Szczesiak, who works every day in the paper IPN historical education, presented the participants with all the departments of the institute. The wide range of listeners familiar with the offer education directed at youth. He called the examples of concrete actions in this regard taken by the Poznan branch in Wielkopolska. Much of the IPN devoted publishing activities, notably by presenting items which have appeared in connection with the 30th anniversary of Solidarity " which included, among others studies on the region Piła. After the lecture he gave was a lively discussion. Participants at the meeting asked especially about the future of the Institute and of the possibility of reinforcing the activities of historical education of youth.
